IQ Retail takes pride in providing top-class support to all its clients and Resellers. IQ Retail provides a variety of different support options including the following:
IQ Retail also provides remote support for clients with a Service & Update Agreement. Where a client's internet connection is able to support this option, it allows IQ Support Technicians to log in remotely in order to assist clients.
Telephonic and email Support
IQ Retail provides telephonic and email support for clients with a Service & Update Agreement and Resellers.
The subscriber is entitled to Telephonic and email Support, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm. Excluding public holidays.
*All support to clients are subject to IQ Retail Terms and Conditions as per the Service and Update Agreement.

IQ Retail provides country wide support throughout its base country, South Africa, as well as in various other countries around the world. These are IT professionals who have met the standards required by IQ Retail to sell and install the software.

Minor Upgrades - All Systems
These are minor changes, fixes and enhancements made on a continual basis within the system. For example from version x.01 to version x.02. These are free for all users. However these updates only continue until a major version is released. Thereafter all users must upgrade to the next major version.
Major Upgrades - IQ Enterprise, IQ Business, IQPOS and IQFree POS
These are major system enhancements and changes that are released periodically. For example from version 5.x to version 6.x. Such major releases include large modules, features and major system enhancements. These upgrades involve a software upgrade cost, unless the client has an existing Service and Update Agreement.
Major upgrades are included in the Service and Update Agreement for IQ Enterprise, IQ Business, IQPOS and IQFree POS.
Major upgrades involve a software upgrade cost if the end-user does not have a Service and Update Agreement in place for IQ Enterprise, IQ Business, IQPOS and IQFree POS.
Major upgrades are not included in the Service and Update Agreement for IQ2000 and IQ Restaurant.
Upon registration the client will be requested to either accept the Service and Update Agreement, or complete the Decline form.
Upgrades prices exclude all Reseller costs, Installation, training, support and data conversions.
